Another Parkway Fire

This one, reported by Channel 3, was in the area long associated with illegal camping in the Parkway yesterday.

An excerpt.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —A small grass fire burned about two acres Monday along the American River Parkway.

Sacramento Fire crews were called about 11 a.m. to the fire, which broke out on Highway 160 and Northgate Boulevard.

It is the second fire that crews responded to in the area Monday morning.

The fire was burning near a wooden trestle that firefighters were working to protect.
