Arrest in Parkway Fires

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —Sacramento police and county park rangers made an arrest Friday in connection with an arson along the American River Parkway.

Brian Larue, 31, is accused of starting a series of grass fires that took place on Aug. 27 along the parkway.

The fires were spotted at three separate locations on the south side of the American River.

The fires charred about an acre of vegetation and involved a homeless encampment.
