Parkway Fire #2

Second of the season that is reported in the news media—many are not because they are small and put out quickly—and this one is near Sac State, as reported by the Sacramento Bee.

An excerpt.

The Sacramento Fire Department was working to contain a fire Tuesday along the American River Parkway near Sacramento State.

The fire was near the Guy West Bridge around Mile 8 of the parkway’s bike path. Crews have mostly contained the blaze, the Fire Department said on Twitter.
